      Reviews :

Japanese jazz pianist Chihiro Yamanaka is set to release her first new studio album in a year on June 19. Celebrating the 80th anniversary of Blue Note, Yamanaka’s highly anticipated new set pays tribute to some iconic jazz numbers by Sonny Clark and more. The album will also focus on the works of Michel Petrucciani, the French pianist who overcame a genetic disease to become one of the most accomplished jazz musicians of his generation. This year marks the 20th anniversary of his death at age 36.
