Review :

" Light In The Attic continues to harken back to the deep cobalt blues and emotive jazz sapphires of Mari Nakamoto, this time reissuing her third album for Three Blind Mice (TBM) Records. In their own words, III showcases her tender vocal style, complemented by the masterful accompaniments of Isao Suzuki on bass and Kazumi Watanabe on guitar. But we'd wager that this was one of the records that set Nakamoto on the path to sustained greatness she enjoyed until her stopping releasing in 1982; the needily romantic 'What Are You Doing For The Rest Of Your Life', for example, poses the difficult question of what, exactly, the object of Nakamoto's affections is going to do: submit to uncertainty, or spend the rest of their life with her? Of course, the album is watery and night-heroinic throughout, with its bare instrumental accompaniments provoking a cards-close-to-the-chest feel." Review by Juno.co.uk.
